I’ll admit, Apple’s get-up is obviously a direct reference to Jesus. But please realize this comic is meant to mock religion more generally. Many mythic figures have claimed to be born of virgins. Even if we assume that someone really was of a virgin, that doesn’t mean what that person says and believes are necessarily true.
Seems like the comic artist got personally butt-hurt by [“religion”] that they had to go out of their way to insult it in a totally obvious, unwitty manner. But still, it’s a stupid comic, not to be taken so seriously. Doesn’t make a difference who stops reading this over something so dumb, as there are probably only 5 readers anyway.
