Why is that sad? He is a young boy that doesn’t seem to have friends. Being active in some sort of activity would seem okay. And many places that is just an option of what sort of sports it will be…I do think parents should listen to their kids and not force them, but I could see the day being hopeful about getting him to play sports.

But I would agree that the dad unfortunately seems very focused on that his son should be tough, and not even soccer would be good enough…
